After a long hiatus, the Dubai Airline Operators Committee AOC proudly held its quarterly meeting at the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre – marking a renewed chapter of collaboration, commitment, and growth for our community.
The meeting was inaugurated by our Chairman Shabab Attarzadeh, alongside Pooja Shetty (Vice Chairman) and Binish Vasudevan (Treasurer), with the valued participation of our stakeholders:
🔹 dnata – Paul Beech, Ciaran O’Sullivan, Tim Walker
🔹 Dubai Airports – Kan Ni, Nick Sime, Hamad Al Jowder, Noof Alsuwaidi, Mine Ozer Kal, Claire Love
One of the highlights of the session was our distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Col. @Mohamad Al Jenahi from Dubai Police HQ , who delivered an in-depth overview of the Dubai SWAT Challenge and outlined unique opportunities for collaboration with AOC airlines.
The meeting also gave us the honor to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai South, represented by Mohammad Al Falasi, for their unwavering support and for providing the AOC with a new official home at DWC. Mr. Al Falasi shared an inspiring overview of Dubai South and MBRAH’s achievements, reinforcing their critical role in shaping Dubai’s aviation future.
Above all, this meeting reaffirmed our alignment with the OneDXB initiative, which places passenger experience and seamless collaboration at the very heart of airport operations. The support and active engagement of AOC member airlines in this initiative has transformed it into not just a framework, but the new norm by which we operate. The AOC community stands united in advancing this vision alongside dnata and Dubai Airports, ensuring Dubai continues to lead as a global benchmark in aviation excellence.
This was more than just a meeting – it was a clear statement of our collective spirit, unity, and determination to work hand in hand as one team, OneDXB. The journey ahead is exciting, and together, we are ready to achieve even greater milestones. 🚀✈️
